The Brooklands Reopens Following Major Refurbishment

A much-loved local pub in Coventry has reopened following a major refurbishment designed to enhance the experience for guests while preserving its place at the heart of the community.

Following a three-week refurbishment, The Brooklands on Kingsbury Road has unveiled a fresh new look, with upgraded interiors and thoughtfully redesigned spaces that blend contemporary style with the warm, welcoming atmosphere locals know and love.

New Look and Menu

Whether meeting friends for a drink, enjoying a family meal or gathering for a traditional Sunday roast, the revitalised venue offers a welcoming setting for every occasion. The revamped surroundings are matched by a menu packed with familiar favourites, with crowd-pleasers including the K-POP Crunch, Crispy Sweet Chilli Chicken and the Pork Tomahawk. Guests can then round off their visit with a sweet treat, such as the Caramelised Waffle.

Melanie Thorpe-Charnley, General Manager at The Brooklands, said:

We're incredibly proud to be welcoming everyone back. The refurbishment has given the pub a completely new feel while keeping everything our guests love about it. Seeing familiar and new faces walk through the door has been fantastic, and we can't wait to make even more memories with the local community.

Entertainment and Local Teams

Beyond its new look, The Brooklands remains a hub for local entertainment, with live sport shown on big screens, a weekly pub quiz every Monday and Thursday, regular live music and community events throughout the year.

The pub is also set to remain a hub for local sporting communities, with mixed-gender teams taking to the newly improved facilities throughout the week. Mondays will see the pool team in action, followed by the darts team in the pub's new dedicated darts area on a Wednesday, while Thursdays are reserved for the dominoes team.

Sports fans can also catch all the action on TNT Sports and Sky Sports across four screens, including one 40-inch and three 75-inch TVs, showing everything from football and darts to cricket, rugby and more.

For details of upcoming fixtures, events and activities, customers are encouraged to keep an eye on the pub's Facebook page.
